Reflection Ideas

Photography is about capturing light. Reflections are simply reflected light. In this week’s challenge, make sure that you are making the reflection a strong element in your photo.

Many different types of surfaces reflect light well. Obviously, mirrors, as pictured above, do that really well but so does water, shiny metal and many other surfaces. Leveraging these reflections can turn an ordinary physical object into a very artistic shot.

In this challenge, get creative with the reflective surfaces around you. Make sure that you’re paying attention to the backgrounds as well.
